LIMEX -- Graduate-Level Ministry Studies in our Archdiocese

Are you hearing more about LIMEX these days, but understanding it less?

LIMEX stands for 'Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension Program.' It is a graduate ministry studies program for adults -- implemented via learning group cohorts in 'extension sites' such as the Archdiocese of Louisville.

LIMEX has existed for over 25 years nation-wide, coming from the Institute for Ministry @ Loyola University New Orleans. Pictured above are: (1) Dr. Thomas F. Ryan, the Director of LIM; and (2) the Saint Ignatius Chapel and Library on the Loyola campus.

There are currently two LIMEX groups operating in the Archdiocese. Student recruitment for another new group is beginning now. Click below for some online information:

The coordinator of LIMEX in our Archdiocese is Butch Ekstrom.
Make contact with Butch at the Archdiocesan Office of Lifelong Faith & Education (OLFE) -- bekstrom@archlou.org -- 502.448.8581.
LIMEX leads adult students toward professional ministry degrees and certificates:
Master of Pastoral Studies (MPS)
Master of Religious Education (MRE)
Certificate in Pastoral Studies (CPS)
Certificate in Religious Education (CRE)
Post-Masters Certificate in Pastoral Studies
Advanced Continuing Education Certificate

Complete online courses and degrees are also an option with LIM.
