Catholic practices that form Catholic identity: a sense of sacramentality, commitment to
community, respect for the dignity of human life and commitment to justice, Tradition, and
deep faith and hope.” In addition we’ll talk about how to teach such central Catholic themes.
During the afternoon, the workshop will focus methods, techniques, and tips for catechists,
both experienced and new volunteers ‘on the job,’ in Catholic parishes.
Our Presenter
Dr. Joe Paprocki is the national consultant for Faith Formation at Loyola Press of Chicago. He has over 30 years of experience as a pastoral minister and classroom catechist in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Doctor Paprocki hosts the popular web blog called Catechist‘s Journey and regularly presents webinars on line sponsored by the Loyola Press. He is also the author of numerous books which include Practice Makes Catholic, The Catechist’s Toolbox, A Well-Built Faith, Tools for Teaching, Living the Mass, The Bible Blueprint, and his new 7 Keys to Spiritual Wellness.
